MULCH
Purpose: professionally produced mulch for mulching plants, dressing parterres, rock-gardens, green plots or surrounding environment.
Effects of use:
● soil erosion decrease (disruption, washing out);
● stimulation of soil microorganisms' activity;
● decrease of soil crust, appearing because of water drop fall, providing well aeration;
● plants' protection from a negative effect of water drops;
● decrease of moisture vapor from soil in summer period, soil protection from heat ( during dry-time);
● plants' protection from diseases, prevention from pest friendly medium;
● plants' protection from frost, roots' system protection from congelation;
● weeds control and blocking of growth;
● an original solution for dressing the environment and improving its esthetic outlook
● possibility of well aeration of roots, keeping soil fluffy and preventing from curd;
● save expenses and time for plants' maintenance;
Mulch is 100 % ecological product - paints are plant and animal friendly.
An optimal time period for mulching in order to keep moisture, eliminate weeds and dress the environment - the second part of April - June. An optimal time period for mulching in order to protect from frosts and congelation - the second part of November. Please, notice, a start time for spring mulching - after disappearance of soil freeze, when soil becomes dry and warm. Autumn mulching starts after soil is cold enough, i.e. when night temperature drops below zero. Optimal mulching is performed to warm, but not too dry soil. Mulch restrains temperature and moisture, so it is not applicable to dry, wet or cold soil. Prepare a soil surface before mulching: eliminate rubbish, grub up annual weeds, destroy perennial weeds using herbicides, spread complex fertilizers ( normal amount 30 g/m2, long-lasting suit the best), install watering system, if necessary, water and make the soil fluffy. Please, remember, that exceed amount of mulch has a negative impact on plants, when spreading too little amount won't lead to the desired result. Heavy soil and clay is mulched with a thinner coat, light and sandy soil- vice versa, with a thicker one. In order mulch could renew and plants' root system could be aerated, remix mulch every 4-6 months. We recommend to remix and recoat mulch with a 2-3 mm layer once per two years. If the purpose of mulching is not only to enhance soil quality, but also to keep a long-lasting dress, form a basic coat ( organic geotextile, black agro-coat), that won't let upper mulch layer sink. Avoid a mulch layer interaction with stems and trunks, otherwise it decomposition processes could begin. In case of mulching a wheel with a plant in the center, keep to 45 cm diameter value for a bush, 75 cm - for a medium size tree.
