SWEET PEPPER INGRID

Capsicum annuum L.
Code: 4770168125520
Assessing: 0

Medium early, high yielding hybrid variety. Yields good fruit even in adverse weather conditions. Fruit with thick peel, cube-shaped, chocolate-coloured when mature, weigh 200 g and have 2-3 cavities. Grown in greenhouses covered with film. For the fruits to mature well, flowers must be deadheaded at the end of the growing season. The last harvest is before frost, paprikas are particularly sensitive to frost.

Seeds sown in peat soil pots, 1-2 seeds at a depth of 0.5 to 1.5 cm. Pots should be covered with film. Best temperature for germination is +22-25 °C, it is important that the germinating seeds are protected against temperature and humidity fluctuations. Sprouts grow within 60-80 days depending on growing conditions. Paprikas are grown like tomatoes.

One paprika contains a daily dose of vitamin C. Carotene content in paprikas is almost the same as carrots. In addition, this vegetable has one important feature: the vitamins are preserved even during cooking or preservation.

0.1 grams contains about 12-16 seeds.

The yield is determined by seeding density, 0.1 g of seeds will be sufficient to cover the area of 2 m2 - high yield, 8 - 11 kg, is expected under favourable growth conditions.
