In winter basilicas can also be grown at home in boxes on windowsills, only it is necessary to take care of additional lighting.

Seed strip advantages: better, greater and higher quality harvest. Sown seeds almost don't need thinning and they sprout in equal intervals. The strip absorbs humidity of soil. When humidity is sufficient, the growth of seeds is more even and quicker. The carrot area looks orderly with equal distances between lines, and therefore it is easier and more convenient to cover such area with garden foil as well as weed it. Soil must be watered before laying the strips. Laid strip should be covered with soil and strongly watered.

200 cm2 (10 x 20 cm) strip can generate about 120 plants of good quality.
